Some Optimizations on Blog Posts
Some Optimizations on Blog Posts - Ok, just this time I will share articles about  Some Optimizations on Blog Posts that are sometimes ignored and felt less important even though it would be very good if this was done as a supporting factor for our blog SEO.

1. Image Optimization

Image is one of the important factors in a blog article, in addition to representing the description of the contents in the picture posting also plays an important role in SEO because usually visitors will see the picture first which will increase the duration of visits from readers and will automatically reduce the Bounce Rate of our blog.

If you have used the image in the post, it would be nice if the image used does not have a large size and not too small, try to compress the image with the optimal size.

Add title tags and alt to image properties so that SEO is more, like the example below:
If you don't want to be bothered to add manually, you can follow the tricks in this article: How to Optimize Images to SEO Automatically

Then click the HTML tab, delete markup imageanchor="1"and replace it border="0"withstyle="border:none;"

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="URL-GAMBAR" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="281" src="URL-GAMBAR" width="640" /></a></div>

Change the marked code so that it looks like this:

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="URL-GAMBAR" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img style="border:none;" height="281" src="URL-GAMBAR" width="640" /></a></div>

2. Add a Label

Labels or categories are important in posts. Adding a label will make it easier for search engines to crawl every post that has been organized and help visitors to find the articles that are searched based on certain labels.

3. Change Permalink to Custom Permalink

In the default blogger settings, permalink or permanent link is determined by Blogger every time the post is published. But by changing the permalink to a custom permalink, we can edit the link itself from the post to target the right keywords according to the title of the post.

What if you already publish articles and want to replace the permalink with a custom permalink? It's easy, my friend just returns the article to Draft then you can edit it again.

4. Fill in the Search Description

Some argue that the use of the search description feature is no longer effective because Google has replaced it with a different algorithm structure than before so it will be useless to fill out a search description in the post editor and blog settings. But it is different with my opinion, on this blog I still use this feature because it will help the visibility of a blog on search engines with certain keywords. If this feature is no longer effective, Blogger should disable or eliminate the feature.

The description of the search both on the blog settings and post editor can you write with a keyword of about 190 characters which is certainly in accordance with the contents of the post.

5. Post title

Usually the blog title uses the h2 tag while the post title uses the h1 tag. In the contents of the post do not use both tags, you can use the h3 or h4 tags which will be useful to determine a clear hierarchy in the content of the posts.

To write the post title don't add special characters such as quotes, single quotes, exclamation marks, question marks, or other special characters. Because in addition to not good for SEO usually for those who use custom templates titles that use special characters will not bring up the post thumbnail in the index page. Example title:

Example 1

Good application according to Blogger:

Example 2

Collection of Pantun Congratulations on Performing Prayers Friday Good

application according to Blogger:

Example 3

Not the World "The Dreamer" Good

application according to Blogger:

Not the World of the Dreamer

Although less appropriate with punctuation that should be applied to a sentence or words, but in this case we must also be able to adapt to the provisions of Blogger.

6. Use Jump Break

Use the jump break feature add after the first picture or paragraph of the post. Maybe this point is often overlooked, but in my opinion this is one of the important factors that will make our blog tidier and lighter because the contents of the post are not fully contained in the index page and at least avoid the less good intentions of AGC sites (Auto Generated Content ) because the contents of the article were not fully taken, the jump break was cut off.

So about some optimization on blog posts . If there is something missing, you can add it to the comment column. thanks.
